Due to the dealership expanding, we’re seeking candidates for the following roles:

• Service Technician
• Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Hours

• Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
• Only 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.30am – 12.30pm

Salary

• Basic salary £30,160
• Plus uncapped bonus opportunities
• Giving OTE between £33,000 – £37,000 per year
• 3 month guaranteed bonus upon joining

Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Leeds have an established, very successful team and are excited to be now have the additional franchise of Peugeot on board. This freshly refurbished branch, and with plenty of on site staff parking.

You’ll be joining a fantastic team and be supported by a motivating and encouraging Service Manager.

The role

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Complete electrical and engine repair work
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
• Communicate successfully with customers where needed to explain repair findings and recommendations.
• MOT Testing (if applying for that role)

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Candidates with Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Qualification will be considered
• Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided
• Car servicing and repair experience in either a main dealership, independent garage or other car servicing company
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude
• Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues
• Have an honest and diligent approach to work
• MOT Licence – if applying for that role
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
