Vehicle Technician – Level 3

Salary

• Basic salary range from £30,000 – £38,000
• Giving OTE of £45,000 per year

The role

• Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:
• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Complete electrical and engine repair work
• Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary
• Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out
• Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand
• Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Checks
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided
• Car servicing and repair experience in either a main dealership, independent garage or other car servicing company
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude
• Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues
• Have an honest and diligent approach to work
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential

Our sixth site opened in Dunstable in April 2024. We continue to grow and develop moving forward. Due to an increasing workload, we are now looking for an experienced Technician for our Fiat, Abarth, Citroen and Peugeot Aftersales department.
