Diagnostic Technician – Vauxhall

Vacancy:

• Senior Diagnostic or Master Vehicle Technician – Light Commercial Vehicles

At:

• Pentagon Vauxhall, Fiat, Renault
• Greenside Way, Greengate, Middleton, Greater Manchester, M24 1SW
• This is a busy commercial vehicle main dealership, the site has 12 bays split over 2 workshops.

Salary

• Basic Salary £39,000
• Plus excellent bonus scheme given OTE up to £49,800

Hours

• Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (with 30 minute break)
• NO SATURDAYS ARE REQUIRED UNLESS YOU WANT EXTRA OVERTIME

The role:

• Carry out diagnosis, repair and evaluation on customer vehicles
• Diagnose complex symptoms across a range of Light Commercial vehicles
• Ensure quality and a first time fix of all customer vehicles
• Communicate with customers to fully understand their reported issue
• Develop your skills & knowledge to stay at the forefront of vehicle technology, including EV and Hybrid Vehicles
• Assist and train your colleagues through mentoring and coaching
• Maintain a clean & safe workshop environment

The skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
• Experience at a Diagnostic or Master Technician level, ideally within a main dealership
• Experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles
• EV / Hybrid experience and qualified (desirable)
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
