Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians – Full-time and part-time

Salary Details:

Senior or Master Technician

• Basic salary £38,000 per year
• Bonus potential £7,000 per year
• Giving an OTE of £45,000 per year

Vehicle or Diagnostic Technician

• Basic salary £34,000 per year
• Bonus potential £6,000 per year
• Giving an OTE of £40,000 per year

Hours

• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
• ONLY 1 IN 4 SATURDAY MORNINGS REQUIRED!

Dealership & Location

• Johnsons Cars Swindon – Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Jeep & Fiat Professional
• Forest Park Road, Mead Way, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN5 5PQ

Depending on your level the role will involve:

• Diagnose symptoms across the whole range of vehicle systems, as well as routine service & repairs
• Ensure quality and a first time fix to delight our customers every time
• Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues & sell-up opportunities
• Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress
• Develop your skills & knowledge via regular training including EV
• Assist and coach your colleagues with technical assistance
• Maintain a clean & safe work bay

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Experience within a main Dealership (preferred)
• Diagnostic or Master Technician experience (preferred)
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude
• Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided
• Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues
• Have an honest and diligent approach to work
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
