Salary

• Basic salary range £28,000 to £35,000 per year
• Plus substantial bonus opportunities of £2,000 to £5,000 per year
• Giving OTE of £30,000 to £40,000

Hours

• Monday to Friday – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings – 8:30am to 12:30pm

The role

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Complete electrical and engine repair work
• Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary
• Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out
• Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand
• Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Checks
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Light Commercial Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided
• Light Commercial Vehicle/Van servicing and repair experience in either a main dealership, independent garage or other car servicing company
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude
• Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues
• Have an honest and diligent approach to work
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
