Salary

• Basic Salary £34,000 – £38,000
• Plus Bonus giving OTE from £39,000 – £43,000

Hours:

• NO SATURDAYS!!
• Mon/Weds/Fri 8.15am-5.15pm
• Tues/Thurs 8.15am-6.15pm (1/2 hr lunchbreak)

The role:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
• Carry out inspections and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner, meeting manufacture standards and timeframes as required, contributing to an outstanding customer experience
• Use your technical knowledge and skills to perform all work efficiently, economically whilst providing a safe servicing and repair of customer vehicles
• Be responsible for accurately completing repair and service records as well as any other appropriate activities and supporting company policy and best practice
• Analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed to

Skills and experience required:

• At least Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Senior / Diagnostic / Master Technicians having at least 3 years experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics
• Electric & Hybrid Vehicle trained and experience would be an advantage – although training can be provided
• Ability to understand and carry out diagnosis in both mechanical and electrical work
• Experience working in a main branded dealership workshop or a busy independent garage
• Experienced in dealing directly with customers, with good verbal, and written communication skills
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
