Senior Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

Stellantis Recruitment is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician or Master Technician with strong diagnostic experience.

Salary

• Basic salary of up to £43,000 per year
• Additional efficiency and quality bonuses
• Giving OTE up to £55,000
• Additional £91 per month salary uplift for MOT technicians

Hours

• 42hrs per week
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday mornings on a rota

The role:

• Carry out diagnosis, repair and evaluation of customer vehicles
• Diagnose complex symptoms across a range of vehicles
• Ensure quality and a first time fix of all customer vehicles
• Communicate with customers to fully understand their reported issue
• Complete detailed video vehicle health checks to support customer decision making during the service process
• Work with the Stellantis Technical Platform Teams to find the best solutions for repairs
• Lead by example continually demonstrating best practice to your colleagues
• Develop your skills & knowledge to stay at the forefront of vehicle technology, including EV and Hybrid Vehicles
• Assist and train your colleagues through mentoring and coaching
• Maintain a clean & safe workshop environment

Qualifications and experience required:

• Minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
• A manufacturer recognised training and accreditation (desirable)
• Experience at a Diagnostic or Master Technician level, ideally within a main dealership
• EV / Hybrid experience (desirable)
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
