Position: Service Advisor
Location: Peugeot Gatwick, Crawley
Salary:
- Basic: £27,000
- Bonus Potential: Up to £10,000
- OTE: £37,000 (uncapped)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Contract: Full-time
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

The Role
As a Service Advisor, you will be the key liaison between our customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth, positive experience from start to finish. Based in the front-of-house showroom, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, handling their service needs, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout their journey with us. Full training is provided, so previous experience in a car dealership is not required. You’ll start with our Marshall Customer Journey Induction Programme, shadowing opportunities, and a buddy system to ensure a seamless transition into your new role.
Who You Are
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Customer-focused: You have previous customer service experience and are passionate about delivering outstanding service.
- Organized: You have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload efficiently.
- Communicative: You’re comfortable managing customer expectations and providing regular updates.
- Tech-savvy: Ideally, you have experience using CRM systems, though this is not essential.
- Problem-solvers: You approach customer issues with professionalism, escalating when needed for guidance.
- Team Player: You enjoy working as part of a collaborative team to achieve outstanding results.
- Experienced: A minimum of 1 year’s experience in customer service (ideally in an automotive setting) is preferred.
Your Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture customer relationships before, during, and after their service appointment.
- Customer Journey Support: Guide customers through every stage of their service journey with a positive, proactive approach.
- Consultative Support: Act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers in making informed decisions about their vehicle’s service and maintenance needs.
- Administrative Duties: Accurately complete all customer-related administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Future Customer Engagement: Proactively support customers with future service requirements, contributing to long-term retention and satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues to drive exceptional service, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
