Full Job Description

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor at our Dundee branch, located at George Buckman Drive, Camperdown Industrial Estate, Dundee. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a service desk role within either the car or commercial vehicle sector and possess a strong understanding of the workshop processes. Familiarity with our Data Management System (CDK/Keyloop) would be beneficial, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This role is customer-facing, with responsibilities including:

• Handling customer inquiries both in person and over the phone
• Scheduling vehicle bookings for the workshop and mobile service vans
• Explaining the repair process to customers as needed
• Obtaining order numbers from customers or lease companies
• Using 1link (previous experience preferred, but not required)
• Upselling additional products and services when appropriate
• Managing call handling and general inquiries

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar role (preferred)
• Commercial experience preferred, but not essential
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Is a team player with excellent interpersonal abilities
• Is reliable, committed, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Is organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Has experience using IT systems (a must)
• Holds a valid driver’s license (preferred)

Required Experience

• Motor Trade Service Advisor: 1 year (preferred)
