Salary

• Basic Salary Up To £37,190
• Plus substantial bonus potential of £150 to £450 paid monthly (that’s an additional £2,000 – £5,500 per year!)
• OTE £36000 – £43,000 per year

• Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
• ONLY 1 in 3 SATURDAY MORNINGS!

Stellantis Recruitment are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the team at Perrys Vauxhall, in Swinton, Mexborough.

If you’re a Vehicle Technician with Diagnostic experience, we’d love to have a chat with you!

You’ll be joining a fantastic, established team and be supported by a motivating and encouraging Service Manager.

The role

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Diagnose complex symptoms across the whole range of vehicle systems
• Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary
• Ensure quality and a first time fix to delight our customers every time
• Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues & sell-up opportunities
• Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress
• Develop your skills & knowledge via regular training including EV
• Assist and coach your colleagues with technical assistance
• Maybe complete MOT’s (if you have a MOT Licence)
• Maintain a clean & safe work bay

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• At least 3 years experience, preferably with a main dealership
• Ideally with Diagnostic or Master Technician experience
• Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude
• Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues
• Have an honest and diligent approach to work
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
