Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

We’re seeking a Vehicle Service Technician OR a Vehicle Technician /MOT Tester

*Good Salary + guaranteed bonus for the first 3 months*

*ONLY 1 IN 4 SATURDAY MORNINGS REQUIRED*

Salary Details:

• Basic salary of £29,120
• Plus substantial bonus opportunities starting from £3,060
• Giving OTE from £32,180 per year
• Guaranteed Bonus for the First 3 Months

Hours:

• Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
• ONLY 1 IN 4 SATURDAYS!

You’ll be working with a great team at Evans Halshaw Fiat, Jeep or Citroen based at Priory Park, Hessle, Hull, HU4 7DY,

The role

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Complete electrical and engine repair work
• Complete MOT Tests if have a licence to do so
• Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out
• Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Checks
• Meet and discuss vehicle repairs needed with the customer when necessary
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technicians will be considered
• Car servicing and repair experience in either a main dealership, independent garage or other car servicing company
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
