Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic tests on light commercial vehicles to identify issues and provide accurate repair solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair and replace parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future issues.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers to provide exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 NVQ in automotive maintenance and repair or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in light commercial vehicles.
  • Must have extensive van background.
  • Looking for Van Technicians
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Driver License Required: Yes.

Desirable Skills:

  • Apprentice-trained or time-served.
  • Experience with diagnostic software and tools.
  • Valid MOT Tester License (preferred but not essential).
