Salary:
- Basic salary range between £38,000 – £50,000 per year
- Overtime available at 1.5 x rate
Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 8 hour daily shift (40 hours per week)
- With flexible working chosen between the hours of 7.30am to 5:30pm
- Only 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm (paid at time and a half)
- Overtime is available if wanted but not compulsory

The role:
As a Vehicle Technician you’ll be responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
- Carry out diagnosis, repair and evaluation of customer vehicles
- Diagnose complex symptoms across a range of vehicles
- Complete relevant documentation (job sheets/cards, service reports) in line with warranty and dealer requirements
- Ensure that workshop housekeeping and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Undertake additional workshop and dealer support as required
Skills and experience required:
- Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent
- Ideally with 3 years experience
- Ideally capable of diagnosing a variety of faults
- Previous Light Goods Vehicle maintenance experience would be an advantage
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
